Why I Started Nearby Me

Keen to explore new hobbies, get social and rediscover what made me happy post having children, I set out to find local activities—but the search turned out to be harder than I expected.

After hours of scrolling through Google and Facebook groups, I realised there had to be a better way….

And so, Nearby Me was born a simple way to discover and book activities and hobbies that fit your schedule and location, making it easier for everyone to find what they love.

Our mission is to driving social connection through shared local passions — reducing loneliness and strengthening mental wellbeing.
